As most everyone knows, for the first 35 years in this hobby, most uniform reference books were limited to the Heer, LW, KM, SA, SS (x100), and HJ.
Only in the last 5-10 years have we seen books on the DRK, RAD, DAF, and of late (long overdue) the Polizei. Obviously, the market meets demand, and demand is for the armed services. However, I believe these are long overdue:
1. Reichsbahn 33-45, to include the Bahnschutzpolizei, High-Seas Ferry Service, and associated DRB organisations.
2. Forestry, Deutsche Jagerschaft, Falconry, and the Forstkommando organisations.
3. Penal/Justice, to include all courts and Judges Uniforms--OKW, Volksgericht, Parteigericht, etc.
4. 1936 Olympic Uniforms. This would include all organizations, as well as the many support-staff uniforms worn (interpreters, guides, etc.)
Anyone else feel the way I do? Any others you would add to the list?
