Hi Dietrich ...On post #117 , I couldn't help but notice that the RK on the spine of the 8th book in from the left is a little bit higher that the other examples ..could that 8th Book be a Variant ?

I already put in my Order with you but , I don't want to end up with one of those Chinese repro's I've been hearing about

      Mike!

Yours are personally checked by Birgit and me, dedicated and signed.(as we do with all books ...the checking, by the way) packed also and will go tomorrow.

Please make sure that the regular edition which is enclosed goes to my friends at West Point for the library!

      Thanks,

Don't be angry for so much impatience from the reader's side - it is actually YOUR FAULT! You have done briliant work hence it is of no surprise that many (including myself) are in agony waiting for Your book! Treat the eagerness of the readers as well earned applause

                    My copy arrived today.

                    Well worth the wait!

                    Cheers.
At Rathau on the Aller, the CO of 5th Royal Tanks advanced on foot to take a cautious look into the town before his tanks moved in. He encountered one of his own officers, a huge Welshman named John Gwilliam who later captained his country's rugby team, 'carrying a small German soldier by the scruff of his neck, not unlike a cat with a mouse.' The Colonel said: 'Why not shoot him?' Gwilliam replied in his mighty Welsh voice: 'Oh no, sir. Much too small.'

My copy was in the PO Box when I got back to civilization.

                      ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS!

A must have book for any KC enthusiast, whether you own one now or are looking for one in the future or just plain interested in knowing more about this great award. This book IS a must have.

Hell, This book is a must have even for any dedicated Iron Cross collector as there is so much information that crosses over to the lesser award.

Well done Dietrich! This book will certainly stand the test of time as THE standard reference on these beautiful awards.

I was just at the West Point museum again. I am happy your work will reside there.
