Got the crest from my friend today.

This is totally handmade, no machines used at all!
The backplate and the branches are 925 silver, and the leaves are 585(14k) gold.

Here I have placed it on a small shield I made from Tirpitz teak.

And this is how it looks placed inside the glass.

WOW, this looks fantastic!! and the display case and presentation realy make it look at it's best, congratulation on a great model. Having a piece of the real ship along with the model is something I love as an student of history and a modeler, again truly fantastic job of modeling and history!!!

Well, almost. The model is the Bismarck, while the piece of wood comes from the Tirpitz - Bismarck's sistership. But still a nice item though.

I have recieved a lot of PM's since I presented my model on this forum, regarding teak from the Tirpitz.

To avoid any further requests - I'm sorry, but the few pieces I have left I want to keep for myself for future purposes.

                      Thank's for your understanding.

Just bought an original Kriegsmarine officers cap eagle wich I will mount on a piece of teak from the Tiriptz and use as an addition to my display.

Picture will follow when it's done.
