And here is another thing that may have escaped your attention.... when the Nazis surrendered... the allies stopped shooting Germans.... The Nazis had a habit of murdering people in countries who had already surrendered. Imagine what they could have achieved if the allies had stopped bothering them!
And where was the American Auschwitz?

You can never change anyones opinions on these, but it is important to show the world that not all collectors are kneeling at the gloryhole.....

Okay Martin and Chris hate and have no respect for anyone who fought for Germany in the SS or Wehrmacht that's fine.
Claus von Stauffenberg was no hero a traitor to his country and got what he deserved.
also Eisenhower's death camps after the war. allies just shooting SS POWs
War is bad US and UK was no better so can't sit on the high horse.
British empire is falling europe is messed up was the allied victory a good thing 70 years later?
"Other Losses" is a 1989 book by Canadian writer "James Bacque"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Other_Losses
But you guys just go back to collecting British medals and maybe join a british award forum War relics is good lots of british and canadian stuff on there.
Mods please lock this thread its pointless

Just a thought on WW2..Churchill declared war on Germany because Germany invaded Poland.
Afterwards he sold Poland to Stalin.
In every army there are war-criminals and heroes.
The SS commander who murdered out Oradour was a criminal, just as Bomber Harris was a war-criminal.
The soldiers who got The Victoria Cross were heroes, just as for example Wittman.
I see no difference.

Just to be clear, Winston Churchill was not prime minister in 1939, Neville Chamberlain was.
People really should study more before they make sweeping statements
All the best
