    My bunker in Brittany

    Hi guys,
I wanted to introduce my bunker I bought this year.
I rehabilitate it with my girlfriend to make a second home and rent during the summer.
It is one of the 4 R669 of the inland battery LO 091/5° Batt 265 AR (7,62 K39(r) or FK288 (r))

                        Next step:
-intervention of a company drilling for water
-intervention of a demolition company to drill a conduit stove and make grooves for the inlet and outlet of the water out.
-work on the ceiling for me and my girlfriend

                        The preliminary draft

                        Cartridges

                        A big padlock (period??)

A lot of work with great results. A nice little home away from home.

                            Thank You Barry
Otherwise for interior decoration, nothing reminiscent of war except the markings that we will keep apparent.
We want to make a place with an atmosphere pampering, nature & 50/60's (I'm also a collector of records and concert posters of American rock bands, san francisco and boston sound among others)
No cars, airplanes or neighbors noises, just trees, animals and horses noises (& Rock n roll )

Although i think there is great beauty in an overgrown abandoned and deacaying bunker, its also nice to see them repurposed and restored. i really envy you, i would love to own / live in one (although a Flakturm is the dream!)
Really enjoyed those period photos too.

i have a suggestion for you... It might be nice to have a small display that commemorates the structures original purpose. It would surely be of interest to your guests too...
