              Thanks for taking the time to show us the progress of your project. Very interesting to see the progress and your plans for this old abandoned bunker. You are giving it a new life and will hopefully be able to enjoy a really unique holiday location!

                  What does a bunker in Normandy go for nowadays?
                  Can you provide us with some history on this specific bunker?

                    The bunker is the n° 1, the unit was the 5° batterie, 265 artillerie regiment.
                    the unit was transferred to St. Nazaire in July 44 before the arrival of U.S. troops and the creation of festung Lorient.
                    It was in Etel where took place the exchanges of prisoners (16 November & 28 December) and cease-fire May 7, 1945
