    So, not to pick fly poop out of pepper, but, I don't see how you can say his grey trikot is the wrong shade. Before mutze went into RZM control they were made by private hat makers even after RZM control they were still made by private hat makers so obviously the correct shade of grey trikot agrument is a little weak. I just received a couple of doeskin and trikot offizier mutze from Bill Bureau and the black velvet is plush and look exactly like my vintage Janke mutze do.

      I agree, how can people say its too light or too dark, when originals were evry different. RZM had different makers, it wasnt one maker, but it was the distribution center, each maker had a different RZM code. When RZM lost the contract, akll the makers became independent, and more new ones popped up as well, so you cant really say the color is wrong unless its nearly white or nearly charcoal.
