Any feedback on Hessen Antiques SS Officer's Visors? It appears they are using the same "stock image" the At The Front is using. I am looking for a well made Trikot or Doeskin copy and suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Both hessen and atf's are made by EREL. I have a crusher in trikot, and it is very nice quality, especially for the price. -
Hello, I bought such item from Hessen Antique a few weeks ago for a friend of mine. I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the quality of it. The visor seems too long and the fabric very dark. You can make your own conclussions:

The Hessen Antique cap seemed very expensive for what I got.

I bought a ss hat from them and it was TRASH.I also bought a over coat with real buttons that was crap with 100% fake buttons........I mean no brainer fake Chinese buttons.I find them not truthful at all and will never deal with them again.I would stay away from them jmo.

I know Michael Janke and have a few of his early caps which are so much better than his current range.
Although good he no longer uses plush velvet and has run out of correct peaks...he had hundreds of correct fibre peaks in the eighties and early ninties but niw uses ones that are wrong..not smoith and too stiff.
his current SS grey trikot is also the wrong shade...two shades too light.
Ironically enough his real earner is producing leather gay wear for Berlins homosexual community.Comment

I agree theyre worse than jankes, but theyre also $100 cheaper. I also agree the visor looks very cheap, but Im quite fond of my crusher form them, once I tore out the padding and removed the peak stiffner.Comment
