                  Us with the US Vets and their familes. They had forgot where they had parked their hire car! So we gave them a lift

                        The town held an evening celebration. Here Eric & Jean-Michel get a well deserved thank you for all their hard work.

                          The meal was followed by a stage show of WW2 music and songs plus a film presentation of photos and newsreels of the town before and after the war. Many of the Vets families had sent photos to the organisers; most of the Vets were very surprised to see themselves on the big screen.

                                Driving threw the village with all those people should have been very emotional for the vets indeed
