Thank you very much for sharing!

Regarding the polish citizens being shot:

Is there any kind of memorial or rememberance plate?

Do you have a clue what will happen in this historical place in future?

Will anything be preserved or just swallowed by nature?

Thank you in advance for taking your time.

      Hello Thorsten,

well yes, there is a memorial plate on the wall. Unfortunately I haven't make a pic of it, but here is a pic from internet:

(plate fragment visible in right corner of photo)

Beside this tiny fragment of Fort that is a memorial place, the Fort itself is slowly taken by the trees and plants. But in undergrounds of all Forts in Toruń lives thousands of rare species of bats, and Forts are a nature Reserve. So - there will be no museums in there, but goverment don't let the Forts to be totally ruined (thank you, bats!).

It looks as if the blood of the victims is being preserved in the wall as well.

Now the bats are the rulers.

I am looking forward to see more of your pics - I enjoy seeing these parts of Preussen history.

No problem. I saw on this forum many places that I will never see on myself as well, but here we all got an opportunity to travel... virtually

                Very cool, Borzadow!

Collecting is fun, but the experience of "being there" places more icing on the cake, doesn't it?

                Thanks for sharing your adventure!
