    Post your reenactors groups

Hello WAF members. I havn't conducted a forum search on this subject but would suspect that there has been a previous thread based on the subject.

I'm certain others as myself would be entertained and grateful for reenactors to share thier photos.

I had been going througn some mags here and got the idea. No intent to be negative or discourage anyone but to start off with here's my input but
I think this guy might be a little too big though?

Yeah, you sure look like battle hardened Eastern front veterans with those perfect , complete untouched uniforms and gear..

But hey !!atleast you got some mud on those helmets!!!

                            Hi Daniel

Thanks for the feedback. The repro uniforms are in fact not cleaned from one event (public/private) to another, so effectively, some have not been cleaned for years. That said, we do not go out of our way to dirty them on purpose. I would presume that the German soldier of that time would not have done so either.

As for the equipment, we go out of our way to ensure that our repro (and many) original items are as in as good a condition as possible, working on the basis that they would have been issued brand new at that time. In portraying soldiers I would presume they would have attempted to keep their equipment as serviceable as possible.

                            Hope that explains our philosophy.

                            Kind regards

Those uniforms looks good, the pictures too.

Im only missing the veteran "feel", but i guess it might be the cameras too that gives it the new look. Do you ever wash the uniforms?

the movie looks great, actually one of the best and shows your dedication.

And its nice for once to see reenactors who are not some SS unit or FJ..

                              Daniel.
