Battle of Leros

Last week I was at the beautiful Greek island of Leros. The traces of the battle seems faded away now. I happen to see a landmark building form a German photo. Here is the commander of the island Friedrich-Wilhelm Müller in front of the Bellenis Mansion, now a folkloric museum. It is hard to get the same view because of the enormous palm trees on front. There is a war museum as well but I did not find any items worth mentioning in it.
