Hello to all
Would like to share some pictures I took on monday during a visit to IMO one of the best remained pieces of the former atlantic-wall; " Domein Raversheide, the Atlantic-Wall " .
It is situated near the belgian small coasttown of ' Middelkerke' and when you take the route direction ' Oostende ' along the coast, you can't miss it. I'm convinced that most of our european members probably already visited this site, there are kilometers of well preserved trenches and blokhauser. It was originally built by the belgian army at the beginning of the 20th century. During WW1 and 2 it was re-constructed and expanded by German occupation forces and Kriegsmarine...
The collection consists of several original Flak pieces, trenches,etc...inside the numerous bunkers, there are very nice displays showing WW1 and 2 Kriegsmarine set-ups.
Some pictures are not very clear due to the fact they are behind glass and it is rather dark inside the blockhauser.
I let the pictures do the rest...
I hope you guys like it
Cheers
