no im just wondering if your wings get ripped off and you went through the sound barrier i think bailing out would be a weeeeeee bit hard!!! but your right sometimes they can exagrate!!!!

That program ran again tonight on the tv here. One american mustang pilot shot down a fw190 his rounds stradled the fuslage and across both wings causeing them to fold up and meet above the cockpit the german pilot couldn't get out because it happened at 400 feet. The american pilot was so close he could see the german pilot trying to get the canopy open, and even if he did get it open he was too close to the ground to bail out

During the landings at Salerno, the Allies planned and launched a parachute drop that apparently nobody in the Navy knew about... as these C-47s full of American paratroopers flew over the fleet at Salerno, the Navy opened up on them and shot quite a few down; killing hundreds of their own troops.
During the epic battle to sink the Bismarck, one flight of RN torpedo bombers mistook one of their cruisers shadowing the Bismarck for their target and nearly torpedoed her... quick reaction by the skipper of the cruiser prevented a disaster.
Things like this happen all the time in combat.
