Taking the advice from Geoff Walden's excellent website I set out in search of the site of Hitler's tea house on the Mooslahnerkopfh. To get to it I had to traverse the Gusthof golf coourse, which in Adolf's day was a meadow. The teahouse remains are almost directly behind the 13th hole of the golf course. Since the course wasn't open, there were not pins and I had to guesstimate which hole it was based on Geoff's pictures and others I had found online and in books...Comment

Sadly, almost nothing remains of the Teahouse -0 what had been substatial ruins were removed in 2006 - I was less than two years too late.

I was able to find two steps that originally led to the door of the teahouse still intact, but that was it.Comment

After having consumed a good deal of water on my hike, I had to go potty - BAD. So yes, I actually took a leak on der Führer's teahouse... ad victor adeo praeda, as it were...
