Starting with the St Laurent Bunker, part of WS65:
It's an R667 with a 5cm KwK 38/39.
Here's a couple of photo's taken just after D-Day of the same gun and bunker, which match up pretty well. (Note the strike to the centre of the upper edge of the embrasure, and the penetration of the gunshield, are the same in all photos)
This particular bunker was used as a communication post immediately following the landings, with an office inside and a telephone switchboard placed in the entranceway IIRC.
After the battle:

I see in your Photo No.4 someone's again tried to unscrew the muzzle brake.....
Moving on to the other gun in the open emplacement, I think this is the one at the Utah Beach museum (W5) with a new gunshield to replace the original which had rotted away a few years ago:
It's a 5cm KwK again.
I think this 1950's photo shows the very same gun:

Hey debs thanks for posting up those pics for me. I looked through my pictures from my European trips (over 4,000 pics, from 200 plus museums and historical sites) and could not find another pic of an 88mm antitank gun (Other than Omaha). I know that Munster had a series of PAK guns but I think if there had been an 88 PAk I would have taken a pic of it, cant find one in my Littlefield pics from 07 either. This no doubt is the rarest German antitank gun in existence!!!!!
Please if anyone else thinks they have a Pak 43/44 88mm pic or location let us know!!!Comment
