My recent visit to the Australian War Memorial

last month i had the chance to visit the Australian War Memorial in Canberra NSW. Craig Goodwin was kind enough to take us,and we had a great visit. Only the Great War and World War Two exibits were open that day,but we could have spent a full week in both sections.

The medal displays were fascinating. for every group i show, there were at least 10 other groups that i didnt photograph. the VC displays were very awe inspiring

It was fascinating seeing the flying kit of allied flyers,as well as artifacts removed from Manfred Von Richtofen

It was a bit dissapointing to only see one aircraft from the Great War,an SE.5A
