ATF sells Sturm tunics if not mistaken. I bought a Sturm m40 greatcoat from them a nice one too even though it had a stickon lable inside saying "Made In China" which just peels off.

I have 2 Sturm tunics an older one and a newer one. There is a difference between the two even though they are of the same size. The older one weighs more than the newer one from China. I believe the older one was from before they started haveing them made in China. But both tunics are up to Sturms standards

On the March

Dan Robb is a good friend of mine. We have been reenacting in the heartland together for many years now. If you need something off the rack before JB, then you had better go with the LB. Ed does a good job of his proportions. The skirt of the jacket should not go much past your sleeve, your sleeve should not go past your wrist bone. These are general guidelines, as not everyone is built the same.
If you are looking for the best product made on the planet earth, then you want a uniform from Virginia at On-the-March. Her uniforms are tailor made at LB prices. Her wool is the best in weight, color, weave, density, and thickness. Her finished product has no equal. For a man your size, you should seriously consider her for your uniform.
Right now she is in the process of moving, so she will be down for a while.
G-Max also makes tailored unforms. Rob made a nice M-43 for me a while back. Rob makes really nice parka sets as well. His camo prints are top notch.
I would not consider a wool uniform from the Chinese. I do not care for their wool and tailoring. HHK makes his jackets way too long. I know Dan does not like them.

Yeah, I already picked up my uniform from LB. I didn't know about OTM and just checked out her website. Unfortunately she is backlogged till Oct. so I am glad I grabbed mine when I did.
My problem is that I'm at that point 6'2"/6'3" where sizing becomes a issue. The tunic I got fits fine, just a tad long but I can have that taken in.
I'm looking forward to JB. Will you be going ?

Oh ya, been going there since 1988. Will get there on Friday and set up the tents. Hope it doesn't rain on us. I am buttoning up the walls to my 16 zelt tent this weekend. Saves time. Come by and say "Wie geht's?" We will be the Heer unit at the cross roads.
