Aircraft...once in a blue moon. At a tactical in Joliet, Illinois a p47, or something close to it flew low over the column several times. 2nd Panzer had a truck mounted anti aircraft gun and blasted away at it. Much to my amazement, they shot it down and it crashed in some woods off to our left flank. Not much left of the pilot. This is the one instance when they let us use live ammo..........just kidding.

Aircraft are more likely at public battles at airshows. e.g.
We are really lucky to have Bob in the unit. He lives about 12 miles from me, and he has some amazing toys in the attic. D. MAG, Kubel, Schwimmer, 2 PAK guns, Goulache Cannon, Opel Blitz truck, one of those Czech Panzers and a whole bunch of other stuff. Pretty amazing stuff.

WIth the LAH for 3.5 years, or about 10,000 photo's. Bob is a true gem, he hauls the vehicles at his own cost, lets us play with them, and asks for nothing in return.
An amazing man.
