ca.500meters from this batterie there is two national memorials from the wiking/christianity of Norway. The first is Harald`s haugen where the king Harald H******229;rfagre who christianed Norway is buried and the secound is the cross hill from the same period.
He died in 988. He was famous from the battle of Harfsfjord (Harfsfjord was also a NS Hird cuff title for their black uniforms).
The stone cross have a mg bunker beneath but is not clearly seen.
Haralds haugen or Haralds hill was popular among Quisling`s party and they had rally there. It was popular among the wiking inspired germans as well...
