    Heeres kusten batterie Bokn, Norwegen

    Hi all 13 august 2006.

Today I wanted to share a somehow forgotten german coastfort on the island Bokn.
It is 45km from where we live so I took with me the wife and the kid.
A bit cloded at first but later the sun came out. Warm summerday though!

I was on the fort ten years ago and have not visited it before or later.
Back 10yrs ago we lead the national guard youth on a exersize on the fort for a weekend. Back then I found french Mg cartridges in a position!

    The fort:
    The main battery had 4x10,5cm k332 (f).
It was a Heer coastal batterie.
    SMay 1941 HKB 2/978 Bokn.
The commandant was in charge that the cannons recievers was threwn at the sea when caputilation was a fact.
Little is known to this festung.

I hope you apreciate the effordt...
    Cheers All comments are welcome
