Hi All , I was lucky enough to aquire a DKiG which is fresh out from under the soil and will need a clean . It just looks gray and lumpy . I know you all might like to see some pics but i just cant get them to load up . If anyone has any suggestions as to how and clean it up i would be very grateful. I was thinking soaking in Lemon Juice ?

On any item that you have you never want to place the medal in lemon juice. Lemons are acidic and can ruin your item quickly. Most fruits are full of a mild to strong citric acid. Fresh lemons over time when applid to tooth enamel can soften/remove it. Think of what it can do to your prized medal.. -
I would clean it with water first and pat it dry. You need to post photos. Sometimes a lot of damage can occur just from removing it from the soil and having it subjected to new temperatures and moisture conditions especially with the enamel and gilt etc.Comment
