      Dear Piotr,

Although I have had my badgesd in the cases for many years, I have not had any damage to my badges. That being said, the colored foam cover of one of my cases has began to crumble and has stuck to some of the pins of my medals. So I think in the long run it is better to put something better on the foam material (cloth etc) to keep the medals away from the foam.

Most of my display cases are custom made and of my own design...here's one I did for an Army dagger:

Here's another Army display. This one's a presentation-style box for a dagger and the series of Army qualification badges:

I've gotten some cases called shadow boxs at a craft supply place called Micheals. They have different sizes and are not a bad way to display medals. I just have them laid flat, but this way you can rearrange medals easily, take them out to look at them etc.

Skip - have you made any for swords - specifically Luft swords?

Wish the photos were better, but the glass does bad things to my already limited photography!
