Sorry to say I am with your wife on this one - way, way too many Swastikas for my taste. I would also not sit comfortably there. That said your lay out and presentation is well done.

That's weird. I just clicked on it now and it opened up. Try "right clicking" and "Open in New Tab".

How about now? Enuff swastikas for you.

I love my new Kriegy and my gorgeous NSKK paramilitary pennant flag that i've had framed in plexiglass! In fact... I'm in the room right now.. typing this.... enjoying a Scotch on the rocks. I love my bunker. It's comfier than a bed, and if I could figure out how to fit one in here... I'd sleep here too

I share the same opinion. I understand that most of us are here for history's sake, but I personally wouldn't collect that many materials with the swastika. That being said, I only have one item affiliated with the Germans in my collection - a ship crest for the battleship Scharnhorst.

That being said, that's a museum-quality display - something that could be found in the Smithsonian.

Fantastic display room, the newspapers from the early war years are a great touch. I am especially jealous of the velvet podium banner, I have only ever seen one in my whole collecting life. My hats off to you sir!

Take this how you want, but I'd recommend toning down the enthusiasm for the regime. The atmosphere seems warm and cozy from a presentation standpoint, but overt/verbal support for the regime may give some the wrong impression. Just saying.

Found this on a Google search. Wow awesome! Especially like the podium flag and eagle.
