Wow!! , what a great collection.. I've had many of these. What great reads too! I don't see any Sgt Rock? or the Losers? not your favorites?

There used to be a DC Submarine comic too but can't remember the name of it!

My favs were , The Losers, Sgt.Fury, Enemy Ace, Weird War [your #1 is killer!.

Somewhere I have some 4 color separations and color guides! Got to find them, you got me going!

Wow, didn't realize these where still out there.
Used to read some of these as a kid myself.
My favorite was Magnum Vietnam series but that is later I think.

Nice and funny , but it is utter propaganda

I still have a stack of comics, all 10cents or twelve....three foot high , of all types. The Sgt Rock , haunted tank, GI combat, Sgt fury and his howling commandos, the Indian that flew the P 51 mustang? Chief?, and more are still in trunks , but none are minty. All are in well read condition...other titles, I can't recall..but I should someday photo them just for remembrance.
My cousins would come to visit, and you couldn't get them away from the stack...today they still comment on how much they enjoyed reading them when they came calling.

Thanks for all of the comments. I am glad I was able to take some of you down "memory lane". I have another 100 or so different War comic titles (not Vol 1, No 1 issues) that I might add to this thread later.

Attached is an original comic art piece for the title page from: Our Fighting Forces, Vol.24 #172, Mar-Apr 76 comic book. Note the white out corrections on the piece. Not sure why is posted sideways.

One more piece of original artwork; this is from Sgt Fury and His Howling Commandos, #24.

I will post the comic book and final page shortly.

Here is a better picture of Page 9 Sgt Fury and His Howling Commandos #24(final version as it appears in the comic book) and the Inked/Lettered comic art used in production.
