    Hi Eduardo -

No, I am not trying / and nothing stops me either.

I did close a deal today for the aquisition of an item once presented to Sepp Dietrich as SS-Oberstgruppenführer & Kdr. of the 6th SS-Panzer Armee.

I am thrilled, since it is absolutely hard to come by items out of the estate of Sepp Dietrich. This particular item is coming out of a collection in Austria.

        Wisch's cap

I was traveling all last week and missed Niemann's update on Friday where he suppossedly offered a cap having belonged to Teddy Wisch.

Checking his site this Saturday morning I did not find anything anymore.

What happened? Did anyone see the cap on the site? Was it W-SS or Allgem. SS? Did it come with a letter of authenticity/origin by any chance?

Down below an image from the 2 caps up for auction from the original 1997 auction catalogue of the Teddy Wisch estate.

It was a Waffen-SS visor, and probably the one in your photo to the left. Price was €8000.

Came with a letter from Kai Winkler stating he had sold it and that it had been part of the Wisch grouping etc.

Sadly I didn't save a pic from Niemanns site, but im sure someone else here did.

          Regards,
          David

              Wisch Cap

Many thanks for your mail Jeff!

Here a wartime photo of Wisch as Brigadefuehrer with his cap.
IMO not the same one for sale.

I cannot speak about the originality of the cap itself, but EUR 8,000 for a General's cap sounds like a bargain.

                    Standartenführer

As SS-Standartenführer in 1943...with seemingly a little weight problem at the time....

                            Wisch-Inheritance

                            Hallo Markus!
Didn´t want to post these to the PzPortrait-thread, as they wouldn´t fit, so please excuse that I post them here...
Don´t intend to sell them, but I understand, you have a special interrest in them.
Anyway, the first is also from Sepp Dietrich´s Geburtstagsfeier in 1943 - some kilos of awards on this one!

Does anyone have a better pic of Sepp Dietrich´s ring?
Seems to be like the LAH-Adler...?
