    Greg,

Well the big toes are the product of having a ton of issues as a kid with ingrown toe nails. My mom had her fill and had them permanently removed when I was like 12. It was just the best option and I don't really care, obviously I will never be a foot model but years of wearing boots and hiking my arse off as a kid caused me to have some odd shaped feet. Also probably didn't help that we were pretty poor growing up as kids till my mom went back to school so we got the most miles out of everything. Then throw in a goofy 2nd toe that is just slightly longer and a bunch of running and its just a recipe for sexy feet.

Collection wise I have kinda moved out of the tropical a bit and have really found a home with the PzGrn, kradschutzen, and schutzen items but have always really enjoyed the light weight summer tunics. Plus PzGrn stuff that I want doesn't come up that often so these light weight tunics are a fun side aee a to collect. Not terribly expensive but very cool in my opinion. I have my eyes on a couple more but will wait and see what happens. Still need a salty combat like Pioneer visor to top off the Pioneer NCO I have. I just can't stand not having the right headgear for them. Jm up to like 13 tunics in house plus a few on Mike Davis's site. I can only display one at a time now but when we move next summer the wife has decided to let me have a little war room so will need to rent a secede sizes place. Looking forward to that. I am in need of a DKIG for this Pz officer tunic at a reasonable price if someone has one. I am having a hard time swallowing the 2k plus price tag as I am not a medals guy... Otherwise I will just have to go with a reproduction one for display but that makes it feel cheap to me.
Lets see some other light weight tunics everyone! Glenn posted a really nice one on the estand but I don't do medical stuff which is odd since I am medical and all. Matt

Posting a couple of solid links to other light weight tunics to have a more combined thread. I will also snap some pics of a new Artillery officer tunic I just got in yesterday and I have another Inf officer light weight tunic inbound. Would love to see other ones added to the thread!

Killer jacket Fred! I will try to post some shots of my new Artillery Hauptmann to the 7th Rgt. I won't have the Inf one for another week or more if I had to guess. Matt

Very nice, those early made ones for NCO are my favorites.

So here is one of my two recent additions, a nice Hauptmann to the 7th Art Rgt. I have not done any research on the unit yet but if anyone has some off the top of their head I would appreciate it. Anyways, its an interesting jacket as it has the padded shoulders and a dagger hanger in it. All insignia is originally applied but it does have holes in the pockets on the right chest pocket and two sets on the left breast. I doubt there were period done as a badge would just rip out of the material if worn on the front. Then again thats just my opinion but who knows. Still a great tunic. Matt

This like most of mine is made in a very nice cotton duct material and not the "Russian Zelt" material that everyone often talks about. I only have 1 in that material and these are by far my favorite type of material that I have seen. Matt

The padded shoulders are a first for me in one of these that I have owned and I do like it. Matt

Almost looks like the tunic in this painting Matt:

                                Adam,

it really does! The tunic is pretty large as well and that guy in the painting looks like he is a larger guy himself. Matt
