I have this camouflaged tunic of Waffen SS (standard used for the Polizei units of Waffen SS in the Baltic and for Panzer units in the Pomerania).

Hi Ricardo, I have enjoyed looking at your collection


In post number 80 you show at close up on the SS sleeve eagle on the camo tunic. I am afraid that this eagle is a known reproduction. To SS collectors it is nick-named "bigfoot". Try a search on the SS uniform forum and you should find some info regarding this type of repro sleeve eagle. It is very distinctive as it has a long slim narrow body and large feet which give it an odd look?

OBS: I noticed that the eagle sewings had been made hand, but was more calm because they had passed in the UV test.
