                        1 last Hat badge "The Royal Newfoundland Regiment" got slaughtered in one day in WW1, lost around 800 men in a couple hours and did not even get close to the German Lines

                          Tis a pity about the Airborne Regiment. I have fond memories of training with the CAR at Petawawa, a great group of lads.

                            Very nice Canadian collection. I love this stuff too & have been chasing it for years. I like all the Brit, Canadian, Aussie & NZ insignia. Very distinctive & it all makes for really nice displays. Thanks for sharing this with us. Too bad tho, that most identification reference is either WWII or before and whats being used today. Not much in the way of reference on many obsolete pieces used in the Cold War Era, especially trade badges.
