An interesting document to a non-flying member of KG55. It’s the annual evaluation document dated the 28th of Feb. 1944, for Stabsarzt Dr. Wilhelm Miller, the Medical officer of II Gruppe KG55. Dr Miller was MO of II Gruppe from 20th of April 1943 to 9th of Feb. 1944 He was awarded the EKII on the 19th of November 1940 and the Krimschield on the 15th of March 1943. His evaluation document has two signatures on it, the Gruppnkommandeur of II Gruppe Major Heinz Hofer and the Geschwaderkommodore Oberst Wilhelm Antrup. It’s not often you come across items to non-flying personnel. <O</O

This small document grouping was the second set of documents I picked up for my KG55 collection. They are to a Unteroffizer Robert Kramer a flight engineer of 1st Staffel of I gruppe KG55. The group consisted of his 1st Oct 38 medal document, another related document for the 1st Oct 38 medal, his Frontflug Spange in Bronze and in Silver, his EKII document and his EKI document. <O</O
Robert started off in the 4th Flak regiment before transferring in to the Kampfflieger. Robert along with the rest of his crew were killed in action over Russia on the 18th March 1942. I have not been able to find any more information on him at the moment. <O</O
