                    Nice, the first pics look like Hubler from Band of Brothers...as to the "ugly" look of US uniforms, they were quite utilitarian, and performed their function well, and I agree the look does grow on one the more one studies them. In Band of Brothers in "the last patrol" it shows soldiers showering and being kitted out with new uniforms in Feb 45, I'd much rather have those, than the soiled, thread bare lice ridden stuff the typical landser was wearing across the river!
