    Battle of the Bulge GI

I got this mannequin for my 17th birthday, and decided to dress him up as a late 1944 winter US soldier. Let me know what you think!!

Nice looking setup. Just swap out the barrel band on the M1 with a correct one (or nice repro) and you'll be set!

Yeah I am currently looking for a nice barrel band and low-wood stock.

Keep the high wood stock on it. If the bolt is round and rear sight is adjustable, change them to flat bolt and flip sight. Change the safety to a push button if it has a flip safety. Nice repros of the barrel band are everywhere, maybe even new from Kahr Arms.

Yeah I ment I needed a high wood, it has a post-war potbelly stock right now. I got it from CMP, and was happy to see the barrel and reciever are matched and it even has a flat bolt. I was not happy about it being reparked, but the reparking looks very old.

Great Display. Could you post photos of the battle damaged m-42 in the helmet subforum. I like Items that show that they have been there.
