I think I must show this lid,my new toy , found in the same area where most of dugged helmets from this thread. Unfortunately no blue clay in that trench ...

almost looks like the helmet had remains of cloth stuck to the rust...maybe it had a cover and that is why there are still pieces on the rim?

Well it has been quite dificult to get the ones with full decal and in good condition...

so they are my pride and joy....

but I think I have my Blau helmet collection complete...moving on to other areas...

Seems that I solved all with a carefully cleaning and putting each volume in a vacuum system bag....very long and boring but considering that some texts are really treasures for me, all worth the time!!!
