Although this one was not worn by a member of the blue division per se it exemplifies the lid that we best associate with the soldier of the Blue Division……

Medal Ribbon Veteran Spanish Bñlue Division

Ths is a very extraordinary and rare ribbon medal of a member of Spanish Blue Division , last adquisition in my colection.

The Red Cross Merit Military are remove and only is the ribbon for this medal and he put aother cross in it, the Medal of the campaing of Spanish Civil War. The others are the Esast medal, the Spanish medal for Rusia Campaing and the commenmorative medal of the Spanish Blue Division.

This is a tribute to the entry in combat on the Russian front by the Blue Division on October 12, 1941. Tomorrow will be 70 years ago of this history.
