Thanks for the kind remarks. To my fellow New Yorkers I look forward to meeting you, swapping stories and ogling over your collections. Regards Jim

ps Rich the wife and I were at the Poughkeepsie Mall a few weeks ago so your just right down the road from us (less than an hour anyway).

Quite a massive collection you managed to move.
I am happy to see the little red box at the left of the top shelf

Very in depth collection....have you ever played the Atlantic Wall board game pictured above your bookcase?

That is one fine looking collection Jim. I especially love the tropical officer set up and of course the panzer wraps. The 2nd pattern panzer Oberleutnant looks especially good (guessing that it's 2nd pattern by the deep collar).
I'm looking forward to my next move in just over a weeks time, plus gaining a room which will be dedicated to the collection.

                        Jim,
Always a pleasure to view your items. You have the room available to actually view what you've gathered...I'm a little envious!
Very Tastfully Done & Laid Out.
                        With Respect,

                            Hi Phil,

Its been a long time since I've played any board games. I go the computer route these days. I was there at the beginning of the wargame movement. Used to spend hours playing all the Avalon Hill games. Then of course S&T came along and really helped to propel the hobby.

                            Mark,

Thank you. I pretty much only buy what I can display these days. Its a shame to keep these treasures hidden away. Jim

                            Hi Mark,

Thats high praise coming from someone with as awesome a collection as yours. Yes its a second pattern piped wrap. I don't envy you the move but I do look forward to seeing your collection in its new home. Jim

Jim, your collection just keeps getting better! It looks like your collection when it was here in Germany but now with more room and more extensive! How do you like NY? A lot of your "GD" items are nicely detailed in a recent reference book series which has come out!

                              all the best from Deutschland,

                              Jim
