Although I stopped collecting Imperial and will eventually sell or trade them, I thought I share my little groups of EK I & II's.
    Thanks for viewing them!

Thanks Josef & Brian!! Yes they are from my pre-WAF days and then although I bought from reputable dealers I will certainly have them vetted!!
          Appreciate it!!

            Great collection my good friend!!!!

I'm guessing your plan is to change them out with WW2 period crosses?

              Thats wrong, sorry mate.

The first EK1 in the first row and the last EK1 on the second row are both cheap ebay copies if my eyes don´t lie to me.

The Rest seems to be original, quite unsure about the WW2 cases for the EK1, expecally the one with more brown inlet.

Anyhow, the other crosses are nice ones

              greetings

Thanks Kraal!! That's actually good news about just 2 being bad. The last one last one in the 2nd row being bad the screwback or the one next to it on the left? Are all the cases WWII? As some don't fit as well as others?
                Thanks so much!!

                    Hi Greg,

The oakleaves on the EK2 do not belong there, as they may only be affixed to an 1870 EK2. Also, the EK1 cases are all WWII cases except the one with the blue interior, which is also the only one holding a WWII-made EK1 (if I see it properly). So that one cross really belongs in any other case except the one it's in. I think it's a Deschler piece, by the way.
                    Best regards,
                    Streptile

Looking for ROUND BUTTON 1939 EK1 Spange cases (LDO or PKZ)

Hi Trevor! Thanks, didn't think so, a friend gave it to me & I think it's a fake anyway!

It's amazing that of the group 2 are fishin'lures and the crooks are even making fakes Imperials...unbelievable to me!

                        Hi aff96,

yes the screback one without is fake and the first one of the first row And as streptile already mentioned, the oaksleaves belong to an 1870 piece an not to an 1914, and they are maybe fake too.

The EK1 that are lying in a case with white interior are lying in a WW2 case, the only 1914 case is the case with the blue interior. It´s also questionable if the WW2 cases are original, as there are many copys of cases out there. But I´m not an expert for 1914 cases anyway

Show us some close ups of the crosses front/backside (without the two fake crosses )

                        greetings

Thanks Kraal....will do! The cases seem OK, but most are probably WW2. Most have the correct interior, but when time permits I'll take pics of the cases & post on the cases table. I'll take group pics of the EKI's minus the 2 fishing lures!
                          Appreciate it!!

Hi Kraal, thanks again! Hope these pics are OK. The 2 fishing lures are not included. Anymore more lures in the bunch??
Thanks so much for the help!
