Heer Sonderfuhrer wore shoulder cords as per the 1939 uniform regulations. This would change in 1940 and again in 1942. Collar tabs initialy consisted of regular Kragenpatten with a blaugrau nebenfarbe.

In 1940 the regulations changed and the officers recieved more military looking shoulder boards and their collartabs changed to resemble the one's worn by Beamte a. K.. NCO's continued wearingshoulder cords and regular collartabs. In 1942 regulations changed bringing the collar tabs for officers back to the regular tabs.

Landwirtschaftsführer Kurt Leffler winner of the RK das KvK mit Schwerten

Born 6 June 1907 in Mühlberg bei Arnstadt. Sonderführer (Z), with Armeegruppe Mitte since 1941. Basically, he served to seize, secure, and protect Russian farm crops so they could be used by the Wehrmacht. During the course of such duty "often in the front line with a machine gun" according to Göring's speech ( ) he and his fellow Crop Commissars were frequently engaged in anti-partisan action, once broke out of Soviet encirclement, and wiped out "a large Soviet officer staff" near Juchnow. His confiscations included making snow shirts available to the troops (bed sheets?) as well as turning over commandeered crops as food.

Bestowal was on 4 October 1942-- among the earliest presentations.

Like most RK of the KVK, Lefler's was awarded in a group ceremony in Berlin

                  The reverse

Landwirtschaftsführer Kurt Leffler, to whom the Führer awarded the Knights Cross of the War Merit Cross, was presented his award by Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring on the occasion of the Grand Rally of the NSDAP on Harvest Festival Day on Sunday morning in the Berlin Sports Palace.

Thats all I have at this time.

Many thanks for looking. Feel free to comment

Thanks guys, appreciate it. It's a work in progress as the colors seem to slowly surface every once in a while. Just a dark blue, pink and a couple yellows left, then there is the TSD and the GFP and the Militarverwaltungs..............
