My Heeresverwaltungs and Heeres Sonderfuhrer collection

I have finally got around to framing my insignia, and decided to scan them prior to hanging them up on the wall. I will start with the career colors and then into some paperwork.
There were four levels of careers for Officials. They consist of <O:

    High Grade career – hoherer Dienst; A university degree was required;
    <O
Elevated career – gehobener mittlerer Dienst or gehobener Dienst; an educational level between high school and college, with an additional two to three years of practical training was required
    <O
Medium career – einfacher mittlerer Dienst or mittlerer Dienst; a high school diploma and an apprenticeship of a trade was required
    <O
Lower career – unterer Dienst or einfacher Dienst; a grade school education without any further qualification was required
    <O
Each level had different collar tabs to differentiate the grades. What level of official you were was decided by a combination of education and /or experience you possessed.<O></O>
    I hope you enjoy.

Pharmacists, one of the few careers with only a High career level due to a University degree being needed.

              Recruiting office officials

The reference I have states that the Recruiting office officials only had a Medium/Elevated career. The High career tab I have here is original and I have seen others - though not in hand - that looked good tome. So either there was a High career level in the recruiting system or another career not yet identified<O</O

Here is a collage of photo's. They can be found in more detail here, though I will post some of the more interesting ones here.

A promotion document to a "außerplanmäßigen Regierungsinspektor" Robert Kordas.

What this means is that he was filling a supernumerary position in the unit.

These are large, approximately 25 x 36 cm. About a year and a half later he gets promoted to the rank of Regierungsinspektor which is the equivalent of a Oberleutnant.

                              Stabsintendant Jahann Rappl in 1939.

Johann Rappl, born 8 October 1903

Oberzahlmeister with date of rank 1 May 1937 on Staff of Local Commandantur (Ortskommandantur) Regensburg.

Which means from his late 1944 rank designation he'd gone"TSD" and was wearing that insignia of a Captain-equivalent and no longer the "HV" Pay Corps insignia. Probably a former career 12 years enlistment NCO before being commissioned as a zahlmeister circa 1934/35.

Many thanks to Glenn J (GMIC) for the rank list.
