      "Schutzbrillen" protective sunglasses which were carried in the pocket of the channel trousers, to protect the eyes from sunlight reflecting on the sea. (J)

                              Thanks guys for all the nice comments,

                              A late war Me109 pilot in the "Defence of the Reich" He is wearing a two piece electric heated flight suit complete with heated boots and gloves and has a "has 16" high altitude seat parachute (all the emergency oxygen system is complete) This pilot would be flying against the B17s at 25,000+ft (J)


                              Ps any of you guys who own a parachute and are thinking of unpacking it. DONT is all I can say.
