    Luftwaffe from Ireland

Luftwaffe from Ireland, is a thread started by Jim Murray and Paul Woodbyrne to show their Luftwaffe flight collections to other members of the forum and those with a special interest in LW flight equipment and uniforms. Both myself and Paul have being collecting militaria for over twenty five years, we know each other for over ten years through our work, but did not know we had the same interest in militaria collecting, until about five years ago when we bumped in to each other at a fair. At that stage Paul was collecting LW only and I was collecting Third Reich headgear and daggers, but I had a keen interest in the aces and the history of the Luftwaffe, and found myself collecting luftwaffe items only, flight, signals and flak, but soon narrowed it down to flight only.
(Items from Jims collection are indicated by (J) and Pauls by (P) and Items from both collections (J/P)

                              Hi David,
I do have his EK1 and EK2 certs, his Flugbuch, and some photos of his, but the only one with him in it he has his back to the camera. The EK1 cert is signed by Von Richthofen. I post them soon.
