Well its been about 5 or 6 weeks now and I think I finally have the time to finish my room. With the birth of our second child it has been hard to find time just to cut the lawn. Hopefully I will make some progress this week. Of course, pictures will be provided.
EricI once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. Next, I want to fire an 88 round.

Thanks everyone for the comments! I spent half a day sanding and putting more compound on the wall. This is the part of the job I do not like. I should have paid someone to do it and it would have been done already. The only reason I didn't do that is it cuts into my spending money for medals.I once flew in a B-17, B-24, & a B-25. I have no doubt that in Germany the wiring is a work of art, but I am doing the best that I can. It is also easier to wire when it's a new house and not an add on. Wish I could have had this done beforehand, but that was not an option.
BTW, funny song!
First of all: Congratulations for your new family member!!
Let me tell you one thing about german wiring: sometimes its a mathematic job, but sometimes its like "hide-and-seek"..
Especially in the house where I live... There are wires in the walls at places you would have never expected..
Some electricians make really a good job by laying the wires in angles, so you only have to look at a installation and get in a 90°-angle at the wall to know where these wires run in the walls. This makes it easier to hammer a nail in the wall.
But this is possible as we have stone walls here, so at a wooden construction with spaces empty between the wood this wouldn´t work.
So you are doing a good job, I am really looking forward to face the results!!
