I too have a box of architectural artifacts that i've pulled off. Nothing military, ...but a chunk of an Egyptian pyramid, a lump from the trilithon in Tonga etc etc.

Not that I endorse everyone performing such acts (emulating my vandalism), else there wouldn't be anything left.

        Chris,

A truely impressive display of unique items in German history.

Are you ever tempted to take the plate out and use for your spaghetti dinner?

          Bruce,

I've always been too afraid of damaging it to use any of the china. However, I did at one time have the large silver serving dish beside my computer and filled with M&Ms. It was a great joy to cruise the forum while eating chocolates out of Hitler's bowl.
Interested in candid/private Hitler, KIA, and Holocaust photos. Also any AH related memorabilia--silverware, linen, crystal, china...
          All the best,
          Chris

There you go, that gives you connection to the past. If you had his hat you would have to wear it as well.

Thanks for showing that excellent collection.
If Hitler himself would have had more M&M's he would not have ended up the way he did
Anyway, I always thought that the Berghof was burnt to ashes by the SS troops after the allied bombing.
I never thought such a beautiful things could have survived.
                      Thanks again
