        4 months!

        Hi,

Although I find it impossible to see if any of your items are good or bad from the images you posted, I assume you have had them all vetted and are a lot happier than 4 months ago.

If that is what you have acquired in four months, you might run into storage space problems in about two years if you continue at the same rate.

Do you only collect minty boxed items or is there anything with a "used" look among them?

        /David

            David,

The Flower War medals and a few others I had before, the PAB's look fine to me and was confident of them after some research and posting them on here a while back.

Now it's all up in the air, we'll see. The U boat badge I'm 50/50 on but have a nice Zimmerman coming my way very soon.

All I've done is used the money from my refund and a little extra here and there, I'll post those awards another day maybe.

I have a preference towards good condition and minty badges and I like the boxes and packets because thats part of the history of the awards.

On the Naval side of badges there are alot of future upgrades there, they to me are not in a desirable condition, I wouldn't have touched them normaly, but they were a part of the refund also.

I have many wound badges because I like to collect variations in the packets and boxes.

And yes all the other awards have been checked out.

            Kind regards,

            Marcus

                    Chritian,

The round wreath Pilot's badge, some believe in it some don't, when it was posted on the forum it was not like the known fakes and several others had ones like it.

It's one of those awards yet to be proved to exist as such, I do believe in it, the 200 tank badge has been 'proved' and the army ballon badge too.

Maybe one day this one will too, who ever really knows for 100%, there are many opinions not enough facts on many awards.

                    Kind regards,

                    Marcus

Cheers Tyler The numbered badges are maybe's, probably not now, we'll see. The round wreath is OK with believers and the non believers speaks for it's self.

The black ribbonless medal you're no doubt aware of, I've posted it up for evaluation before. It's a trial strike for an intended early campaigns award, one or two strikes exist of it, this is one of them. I haven't seen to many for sale, but I don't think it's desirable or costs a lot or even that rare. Perhaps someone can add on that ?

But the wife wants to know do you like the bloody bear ooopps hope you don't mind my swearing, no really thanks for the comments, I appreciate them all.

                            Kind regards,

                            Marcus
