        .

        Steve,

How many of these cross's in your collection came back with Newfoundlanders in WW1 from Gallipoli, France, belgium and from WW2?

I know many of the lugers, mausers, broomhandles around Nfld were war trophies....

        Best,

        Pete

Great collection Steve. Over 100 crosses and at the rate you are
going----the 200 mark won't take too long to reach. Some very
nice examples that you can be proud of.

Very impressive indeed. How many years of collecting I wonder.....

Thanks for all the comments guys. Pete, I have never picked up an Iron Cross locally, so probably none. I have picked up some items locally that may have returned with vets, such as a Hitler Youth knife, a couple of KVK2s, a Coastal Artillery badge, some belt buckles etc. Not sure if they were local pick ups, but I have heard of a few items in private collections that were. I have been collecting for about 2 years now, but do not recommend this rate of spending to everyone.

Thanks everyone. I've replaced the original pictures with some that are slightly better. A few new pieces added in there also. Plus I put my single parade mounts together for a shot as I recently picked up two more.
