Hello boyouLagleize,
- The helmet in posting #42 looks promising imo.
The liner of that helmet is imo bloodstained.
It is named, have you done the research?
- The fj, I don't know, the liner is in relic state.
Where and how was is found?
There seems to be a difference between the wear/state of the liner and the straps.
- The tunic of the army museum in Brussels doesn't actually show any impact damage, I think the captain-commander was wounded on his head.
Cheers,
Peter

Thanks for your comments Peter .
I don't make any research with the name in the first helmet.
FJ helmet was found in one of the dead man's corner's house in Normandy(just side of the Michel Detrez museum) in the eighties.
Liner is the original one from this helmet but probably a bad storage make this difference between liner, straps and shell.

very cool stuff BoyouLagleize,
An interesting way of collection but that is the real war piece !
I agree with Boyou that you can't tell the story of ( lets say ) the greatcoat by seeing 1 picture, you have to hold in in your hands and smell the "horrible" past of it.
noway of telling it from the picture with this coat. There by, I believe Boyou for 100% of finding this one... I've seen many things of his collection and do not have any doubts...

I have mixed feelings on this thread. From one side, I think it's interesting to know how real blood stains look like on soldier's gear (I myself have a stained desert tunic from my grandpa with small bloodclots from when he suffered a wound on his hands) but on the other if it's meant to be a guide to spot real/fake stains from items for sale, i'am not into that all, and i would never buy blood stained items because it goes beyond what "collection" means to me. But I think it's individual, many people don't like relic stuff whilst for me its ok.
In a nutshell, a good thread !
