DAK Tent, used up until six years ago by the Vet of the 2/3rd Anti-Tank Regiment (Tobruk & El Alamein) on his property when out hunting.
Tent came with its orginal canvas cover.
I guess this Typical of a farmer, souveniring practical things to use. Told me he picked it up from a german paratrooper , so I'm guessing it's from El Alamein.
Nicely dated 41 and makers stamp

Lots of stunning stuff since last I checked in. I have been concentrating on the other side lately, buying British and commonwealth items, some KD tunics and 7th armoured or 8th army items etc.

Time to add a few updates,.
I finally aquired a nice 1941 all webbed A frame & Bag earlier this week which meant I could display some equipement however once all the gear is attached you really dont see much of the A /frame. Still need the right ET to complete and ofcoarse in time this will be set up on a full mannaquin.

A new project after aquiring a nice early worn 41 Tropical Motocyclist jacket has been to complete a full mannaquin. This is my latest mannaquin have been trying my hand at new skin tones and compared to my earlier attempts have been reasonably happy with the results. This is still a work in progress but you get the idea.Comment
