Alright, lets keep this thread goin some more. I have picked up some more really nice pith helmet shields and will post here in a little while, but the best snag of last year for me. My Carl Halfar cap. The insignia is replaced, but still a hard to find hat to say the least. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. Matt

Thats is just outstanding DAK headgear display, the fading & shading is really well demonstrated on the cloth caps, very helpful. Can You display your tunics in the same way showing the fading on each side by side ? Only thing needed is more Tropenhelms

Last thanks goes to Bruce for the info on that amazing range card, at first glance was sure it was from Tobruk...knew it could not be from Alamein (to flat).
That is possibly the best item posted on this invaluable & unique WAF thread. Am working on a reconstruction of the field of fire from the card...

GREAT HELMET!! Seems there are a dozen DAK Heer camo helmets for every one DAK Luft camo out there...and add the tricolor and 1st pattern Luft bird and you got yourself one rare helmet. Thanks for showing Mark!
