Thanks Guys,
I am hoping to create not only a site to show off the collection, but also sections that will help people with similar interests with their research.
When you are typing up all this stuff, feedback is the only thing that makes it seem worthwhile so I thank everyone for their kind words.
There are maybe three people in the world interested in the following... so maybe a looooooot of typing for nothing... but it could help YOU to be the only one on your block to know something about the obscure battle at Sandfontein...

Lovely site..
For some strange reason, I've great respect for WW1 warriors and I'm very fascinated by them..
This war was such a mess and so ridiculous..
I think it was a much more "real" war compared to WW2, real in the sence of suffering and endlessnes, saw images of zombies and creatures who ones were humans...,total lunatics fighting for ?..
It's sad ,but amazing instead..
