                Hi Chris,
                What a wonderful way to display your collection. It is great stuff and very impressive.

                I need to try to do something like that, but I really lack in the computer skills department (hence one of the main reasons my old web-site died).

                              In the Battles section i have overviews of all the years, as well as adding overviews of some of the major battles (a loooong way to go here...)

                                I have found numerous "Ravine of Death!" references to Verdun.

                                One map has it for the Albain Schlucht, but I have informed this is not the right one.

                                Either way... the Albain Schlucht was "The ravine of death" for many soldiers.

                                I would like to share a write up about a brave Pionier who risked his life in one of Verdun's ravines of death, to save a Comrade.
