Well yeah (small) compared to a bunch I've seen & drooled over on this forum. I keep wondering whether you guys all worked for Enron having seen the postings here. My bride keeps telling me to get a real job so I can keep up with the other lunatics in this hobby! :-)

Nice collection. I like Little Heinrich, looks a bit drunk, maybe still celebrating the Oktoberfest

            Regards,
            Adolph.

Yeah. Too bad about Heinrich. I'm sure I could get agreeement that you would NEVER see a fine Irish lad (in his cups) unable to stand up straight. Then again, God invented alcohol to insure the Irish would never rule the world & Heinrich was a bit young to put on the Blockleader's uniform.

Some Army stuff. (Thought I might update this photo since I've created a larger riker mount to make room for new items. I've added a pair of sewn-in full General shoulder boards from an Afrika Corp uniform &, thanks to Mike Holverson over at the Marshal's Baton, a set of unattributed General Field Marshal boards which leaves me looking for Lt. General's boards to complete this grouping. As my beer budget allows, I'll search them out.)

Thanx Jeff. The eagle is 4 pieces; the eagle with claws, the 2 wings, and the swastika/wreath. At the time it was a bit 'pricey' but hey, how often do these things pop up? I was thrilled when (having been told by the dealer I purchased it from, a name of where it came from) Mr. Bourn actually emailed me (through the forum) to tell me the eagle used to be his and share the story of his getting it with me. THAT is the great thing about this forum - learning the history of an item you purchase!

A little closer shot on some caps. The Reichs Level is missing some sweatband but I’ve not seen a better ‘looking’ (display) cap that I could afford as these things are now going for goofy prices. The Orts is a 1936 pattern (I like the mono color band & top) with later insignia that was continued in service. The NSFK - hey, I just like flashy kepis & anything with bullion or celleon!
